To me, School 2.0 is a whole new world. When I was in elementary school, we mainly used a bunch of paper for assignments and projects. Now, there is a whole new world of opportunities for schools to use, and I can only imagine how much more it will develop in the future.
With web 2.0, schools have a whole new variety of technology to use. For example, students can use the internet to find info for projects and help with school work. They can type up essays and format them in a number of different ways, and it is easier than having to write and re-write it constantly by hand. Also, they can use power points for projects and instant messaging, email, etc. to communicate with classmates and teachers. As for teachers, Web/School 2.0 makes their lives a lot easier. Teachers can create blogs and send emails to share knowledge with others and to communicate with students, parents, and coworkers. Also, they can use spreadsheets to easier and more accurately calculate students' grades, and use a variety of web sources to aid them during their instructional periods.
